Roley's Wood

Introduction

Roley's Wood is situated at the eastern edge of the Currie Community High School campus. Over a number of years it has been developed for use by school and community groups.

The natural habitat has been restored and now supports a growing community of plants and animals.

This woodland strip was originally the "Curriehill Woodland Strip" but was renamed in March 2001.  It is a Community Wood open to the public at all times.

Councillor Paul Williamson, Executive Member for Education, unveiled the new sign in a ceremony attended by Robin Harper MSP (Green Party).
